I couldn’t believe it when I first saw this machine. It certainly looked like a quality housing and design, but I didn’t realize how well built it actually was. For instance, if you like your coffee medium dark, with less strength, and you usually have a larger cup, then your Saeco Xelsis Digital ID will know that and all you have to do is select a few buttons. Also, say you don’t just drink normal coffee all the time, and you regularly brew an Americano Cappuccino. Well, your Saeco Xelsis Digital ID would know that, and it would help you brew it easily.
Buying the ID
This machine is quite pricy, but if you are in the market for the Saeco Xelsis Digital ID unit, then that kind of money isn’t an issue. This machine is for people who know exactly what they want out of their coffee machines. If you go to Amazon.com, then you’re looking at spending about $2,500 without breaking a sweat. Also, be sure to include shipping. That is not a bad price, considering the coffee you can make is comparable to most espresso machines that are commercial grade.
My Overall Impression
The Saeco Xelsis Digital ID works. I love the fact that I can simply brew my own cup of high quality coffee with the quick push of a button. The machine customizes to my specifications, which is more than what I was hoping to find in a coffee machine. I could not be happier with this system. If I were to be given the choice to buy this unit again, I would take that option in a heartbeat and I would recommend it to any serious coffee enthusiast like me.
